As a Master Falconer, Al spends countless hours in the field with his birds, as well as studying and researching other birds. His ability to capture life-like qualities has earned him a national reputation as a Master Carver.

Meticulous attention to detail – accuracy and animation, mastery of composition and design, as well as habitat creation – has resulted in countless Blue Ribbons and more than fifty Best of Show awards across the country. In addition, Al has been named New York Sate Wildlife Sculptor Of The Year multiple times.

Al is a much sought after judge for all levels of carving competitions. Also, he spends time teaching carving seminars across the country, as well as private one-on-one sessions.

Al’s work is now in numerous private collections and corporate offices.  It may also be seen at several nature art exhibits across the country, including the prestigious Easton Wildlife Art Festival, the South Eastern Wildlife Exposition, Denali National Park, and the Andrew’s Wildlife Art Museum.
